Mini medics is a course of 6 sessions where Laura and Ashleigh will teach the children basic first aid in both mental and physical health.
The course is broken down into 2 parts, with 3 sessions each. Laura will focus on grounding techniques, breathing, vagus nerve stimulation and how to respond to very difficult emotions- and teach the children how to manage this- in a way that is suitable and appropriate for their age. Ashleigh will focus on basic life support, how to call for help, how to recognise signs and symptoms of some of the more serious acute illnesses. Laura and Ash have almost 3 decades of experience between them and will show the children various techniques and simple songs to help them face scary situations with confidence.
At the beginning of the course, the children will receive personalised scrubs. The end of the course is marked by a mini celebration and a certificate of achievement.
The course is £60.00 for the 6 sessions or £12.00 for stand alone sessions.
This includes stay and play, a lunch box with drink.
